I am a graduate of George Washington University where I studied Comparative Religion and Anthropology. I love to travel and have been around the world more than once. During the Carter Administration, I served as Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff. Upon leaving my work at the White House I moved to Wyoming and became a sheep rancher. There were fossils on the land and I learned to collect and prepare fossils. Since 1981, I have traveled the world collecting fossils, including 6 years as Operations Manager of a large Dinosaur Quarry in Wyoming. Dinosaurs and other fossils I have collected and prepared are on display in museums in Copenhagen, Singapore, Dubai, Germany, Chicago and many other places. I love to learn and to share experiences with others and have lived in Sedona, AZ since 2002.
When I am in Sedona, I work as a tour guide for Road Scholar leading trips in the Southwest, USA
When I was a child my family moved almost every two years. I discovered I enjoyed seeing new places and meeting different people. In University I studied Comparative Religion and Anthropology because I believed it would help me understand human beings and their unique ways of being in this world. After college I took up the practice of meditation and studied the ancient Mystery Schools. I traveled to sacred power spots on the Earth and felt my awareness grow. I learned so much from these experiences it seemed natural to want to share with others the magic, beauty and mystery of sacred place.
There is a quality and depth travel offers to Life which is not compared easily to other experiences. There is a special energy to be discovered when visiting places which have been considered holy by thousands of human beings over a period of hundreds of years. These are places which connect to the soul and open our hearts.
There are many miraculous places on Planet Earth. As long as humans have inhabited the land they have honored places with special transformational energy; sacred mountains, springs, caves and unique geological formations. They built temples, cathedrals, shrines, mounds, stone monuments, monasteries, labyrinths, and pyramids. Civilizations have come and gone but these magical places remain as great sanctuaries which harbor the energy of centuries of prayer, intentions, and spiritual ceremony. To visit these places is of great benefit to anyone open to receiving this profound energy. I love to visit Peru, Greece, Asia, Central America and, most of all, Egypt.
The magnificence and beauty found in Egypt is astounding but the transference of energy is tangible. Here one can feel the power of sacred place and, if willing, enter into the grace it offers.
